      Notice the plumage that has been rubbed raw on the bodies of these birds. The birds kept by this producer are severely overcrowded. This is evident by viewing the birds that have been pressed against the front of their cages, some with no more than their head inches from the floor. Also, on the tier above this one the feet of the birds on their slanted wire “floor” can be seen.
