      Standing at the channels edge this is the view looking to the right. The dredge refuse is located at the right of the picture spanning from the base of the levee to the ditch. This picture as well as the next demonstrates the length of this operation and the damage it has caused. I am unsure of the total length of the ditch but walking the levee for about three miles saw no end in sight. For those three miles the ditch was dredged in the manner seen here.
