      Standing at the channels edge this is the view looking to the left. The dredge refuse is located at the left of the picture spanning from the base of the levee to the ditch. This picture as well as the next demonstrates the length of this operation and the damage it has caused. Though the ditch leaves the picture when it rounds the corner it continues on for at least 2-3 miles (this picture is close to the one mile mark now).
