      Not yet fully uncovered by the rain we see another lost life. The dredging that occurred here could have been postponed until after harvest or closer to planting. During these times the turtles would have been active. Not only would this have kept them from dying helplessly on shore, but they could have fled the impending danger sparing them even more potential suffering.
