      These worms are known as earthworms, night crawlers or dew worms. They are a popular choice for many anglers. Worms are generally put on a fishing hook by running the hook through their bodies multiple times. Earthworms are obtained by digging for them or they are purchased from various retailers. Retailers often receive their worms from farms where they are raised.
