  • "So the old question, 'Am I a man or a mouse?' is appropriate to ask animal liberators! They see a man as essentially no different from a mouse: 'a rat is a pig is a dog is a boy. [Ingrid Newkirk quote]' A mouse should be treated by the same rules as a man, so Animal Liberators do not know the difference between a man and a mouse!" [40]

  • "Question: Why doesn't God command the animals to take care of the people? If animals are as important as we are and have the same rights we have, then why shouldn't they take care of us as much as the other way around? Questions like this one demonstrate that animal liberation involves a fundamentally wrong view of the nature of animals, which leads them to false conclusions about how animals should be treated." [43]

  • (Concerning hunting) - "Those who would take away our rights in these regards have more in common with socialists and communists in foreign lands than those of us living under the US Constitution." [39]

  • (From a website on Christianity and hunting) - "Why are many people currently opposed to hunting? The answers to such a question would probably be too numerous to tabulate. But a primary reason for the anti-hunter attitude that exists today can be traced to the increasing influence of Eastern thought on our society. Such religions as Buddhism and Hinduism have made the concept of coming back to life in different forms very popular. This idea which is known as "reincarnation" is presently being propagated through the New Age Movement." [35]
    [Yeah, that’s probably why!]

  • In a customer review for the book The Western Range Revisited someone stated, "It has no merit whatsoever except as a guide to the limits to which anti-large mammal fanatics will go." [33]
[What exactly is an "anti-large mammal fanatic?"]

  • "And for all those people saying cures shouldnt be tested on animals, who would you rather get killed? People or brainless animals? People suffer, animals dont..." [31]

  • "Last year at a punk rock concert, PETA had a booth and was handing out pamphlets about KFC's torture of chickens. NEVERMIND THAT THESE CHICKENS ARE RAISED TO BE KILLED AND CONSUMED!" [31]

  • "Sure the PETA thinks plants cant feel pain but do they know that for sure? And if everyone turned vegetarian then a lot of animals would have nothing to eat. Animals eat us why cant we eat them? (sic)" [31]

  • PeTA's "philosophy seems so evil..." [31]

  • "I enjoy fishing and yes, I know it hurts them, but I'm not going to stop. Life is hard and cruel and it's only tree-huggers who think they can change that." [2]

  • In response to a survey on the ability of fish to feel pain this person had this to say, "Perhaps they do, but it's not going to stop me eating them." [2]

  • "... you kill deer by living in houses" [48]

  • [This comment is long, but hang in there it’s worth it. Tip: take your time reading this statement to fully appreciate it.]
I wonder how much time you spend in wilds of America, how many accident you witness when dear run in to a car, demolished the car, often injured the people within, and if mercifully did not get killed outright, limbed injured and died later on suffering.
So hunting we must to balance the nature with the human population, or maybe in your opinion we should eliminate the excess of human population?
Next, as long as we have "food chain" in nature, animal will hunt animal to eat, there are some species that are grazers as deer and cow for example, did you observed the eagle diving for fish, or hawk to swoop on his pray?
To be blindly opposed to hunting, is the same as being fanatic and try to control the world, or at least this part of the world, in my opinion this is power seeking and as dangerous as the power seeking individual behind the high-power rifle.
To expect the government to regulate so many thinks and create more laws is to create chains that handcuff our own freedom that our forefathers fought and won giving their lives, so we can enjoy it now.
Let us not abuser our freedom and let us not abuse the nature.
To take being to court and punished him for accidentally run over with grass-mower some rat is absolutely RIDICULOUS, to poor a paint over someone’s head because she is wearing coat that look like a natural fur is a criminal act in my opinion.
And now let me share with you something outrage sly hilarious. Some members of my own family opposed to killing animals for furs, and at the same time they chase and kill dears because they keep demolishing their property, that in first place used to belong to nature and animals. That’s what I called; some....... LOGIC! [42]

  • "You make no sense. Using big words and all. Making yourself look real intelligent... And I would rather go and kill a deer, feed a family for week off of the venision, then purchase beef from a store. Because you never know what those people do to that beef in packing plants. None the less I'll eat it. Why care what people around you do?" [44]

  • "Picture this. your free to choose, to hunt or not, we anti slave people had to fight to free slaves, the same way we will fight people who try to take away our right to hunt, so i hope this is somthing your willing to die for like the slaves, dont go into the woods" [15]
    [Ummm . . . what?]
